The Jamaica Ex-police Association (JAMEXPOL), an esteemed Diaspora Community group forges links for those with affiliations or family members who previously served
the Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF). The common tie of service to ones country was
instrumental in the formation of the Bronx Chapter located at 3455A Baychester Avenue,
Bronx, New York 10466 on September 6, 2009. Headed by President Delroy Murray
JAMEXPOL Bronx has been duly registered as a For-profit organization. The main goals
and objectives of JAMEXPOL Bronx Chapter include among other things, building an
organization that will provide benefits to all its members, as well as providing welfare
assistance and security to members, their families and their communities.
With Chapters in the North Eastern United States, JAMEXPOL is not just concerned
for its immediate members, but is instrumental in making its presence felt in every
community where they have chapters. The newest chapter in the Bronx has already made
its mark, holding a Family Fun Day at its Baychester headquarters and in August 2011
collaborated with the 47th Precinct for its first back to school event held at St. Philips & James Catholic School on Boston Road.
Instilling a sense of civic pride and duty, providing local role models and acting as big brothers and sisters are just some of the ways this group has expanded its reach in the Bronx community. Their gravitas as an organization is such that on recent visit from
Jamaica the Hon. Clive Mullings, the current Minister of Energy & Mining, paid a visit to the Bronx Chapter.
JAMEXPOL is proud to announce that on December 10, 2011, the chapter will be
celebrating its second Annual Dinner Dance, at the Eastwood Manor, Eastchester
Road, Bronx, New York 10466. For tickets and further information contact 347-948-
